Life is stressful, right?
Imagine this emotion of being overwhelmed is a vibration in your body.
Imperfections are beautiful Being perfect is a dangerous idea. Instagram filters may help us decide what perfect means, but of course, this is ridiculous. And let’s be honest, most of us find the imperfections of life beautiful, the knobby tree, the weather-worn...

Striving to be enough is an exhausting motivator. We can go through our lives trying to prove something to the world, proving that we are enough. Believing that we need to be more feels like an important motivator. This belief that we need to be in a perpetual state...
What if we wiped this whole question of whether you “deserve” something off the table? Every time you hear yourself asking this question, tell yourself that this is the wrong question. Replace the sentence with “Do I want this?” and a follow-up question is “Why do I want this”?
Quitting should be easy, right? You stop doing the thing. Stop smoking, stop over drinking, stop eating after one cookie. It should take less energy, not more, to quit the prolonged smoking or drinking rituals. So why is it so freaking hard to stop doing these...

The truth is, if we want to create our futures consciously, then we need to start deciding, decision after decision. Often we find transformation and growth when a tragedy happens, some large unexpected event that shakes us out of our habits of being ourselves. We honestly do not have to wait for someone to die, a hurricane to hit, or a pandemic to shift our brains and ignite us to start creating the shape of our lives.
Daydreaming, visioning, planning is so fun. We can think BIG. Get to big goals, larger things in our lives. Once that fun of dreaming, planning, setting resolutions passes, life happens, and the human tendency is to not follow through on those dreams. Why is this? I call it the Macro/Micro disconnect.
